How to uninstall Google Chromium in Parrot OS 4.6

I installed Google Chromium browser in my Parrot OS 4.6 PC using this method: https://bit.ly/2X7x1Mu (using wget method). I removed it from applications list as it is showing Google Chromium in application tray. I can still see and get updates for it. I completely want to get rid of this issue. Any suggestions?

@D4rkhunt3r try sudo apt-get purge chromium-browser plz post errors if any.

I can still see Chromuim browser installed in application menu. If chromium is not uninstalled then how it can say that chromium browser is not installed? It is a confusing situation.

This looks interesting,anyone with any idea @MoNsTeR ?
try looking at this issue it looks similar :

Parrot OS is Debian based if i remember correctly so try googling problems relating to Ubuntu also.

@D4rkhunt3r & @lolt3under

aptitude purge chromium && reboot

Then tell me let me know.

@MoNsTeR Did you mean apt? By using command: apt purge chromium && reboot, it successfully uninstalled Chromuim web browser after rebooting my pc. Thank you for your answer.
